Karinderya Where to Spend Pesos Next

Upgrade the bottleneck you can see: empty seats, idle plates, or an empty pantry — never all three at once.

Last updated:

Progression in Karinderya is not an XP bar. It is a sequence of bottlenecks you buy your way through with pesos from served plates and from SILOG codes. The advertised end state is a five-star karinderya. The unpublished part is the star math. Everything else is visible: tables, chairs, Basic / Standard / Deluxe stoves, Paints, Materials, restock timers, condiment counts, and the runaway banner. This page tells you what to buy when. It assumes you already finished getting started and claimed whatever still works on the Codes Hub. Sister pages on the Guides Hub cover shop tabs, co-op jobs, and runaways in more depth.

Think in queues. The seat queue is NPCs waiting to be assigned. The cook queue is orders waiting on a stove. The stock queue is plates that cannot finish because ingredients hit zero. Spend on the longest queue. That single rule beats any generic “upgrade everything” list.

Phase 1 — Capacity (tables and chairs)

If people wait at the door while cookers sit idle, you lack seats. Buy Tables and Chairs together. Place matching sets with a short walk to the stove. Code furniture from 1MVISITS (when the bundle includes Parsons pieces — verify in inventory) belongs here. Do not paint first. Do not buy a second Deluxe while three NPCs have nowhere to sit.

Capacity without assignment still fails. Progression is also a habit: assign immediately. Co-op should lock a human to that habit (co-op).

When the shop chairs are on timer, stop expanding tables. Extra tabletops without seats lengthen the door queue and feed runaways. Wait, serve, collect, buy when stock returns. Stock and shop is the tab-by-tab version of this warning.

Phase 2 — Throughput (stoves)

If every chair is full and plates are late, you lack heat. Upgrade Basic toward Standard, then Deluxe, or add another cooker if one Deluxe still cannot cover the seated count. Some 1MVISITS roundups include a Deluxe stove; that is a phase-2 skip. BAKARENEPAIRYAN is usually cash and potions — convert cash into the stove tab if cook queue is the long one.

Place the cooker where servers walk. Throughput includes pathing. Materials spends are legitimate in this phase only if they shorten stove-to-table distance. They are not a prestige sink.

Auto-cook on better stoves changes labor, not the need to serve. Progression fails when a Deluxe owner AFKs in Paints. Stay on the plate.

Phase 3 — Integrity (stock and paid loops)

If banners fire while seats and stoves look fine, inspect condiments and collect. Empty ingredients stall the cook queue in disguise. Restock before the next capacity buy. Uncollected pesos stall the shop. Make collect part of the walking loop.

Integrity is also “do not open ticket mid-rush.” Redeem on how to redeem after tutorial, then close the UI. Expired strings on expired codes waste the same seconds as a bad shop tab.

Workers: if a Grocery hire (~₱300, ~three days) appears in your build, it is extra labor for phase 2–3, not a replacement for Deluxe. Early footage has no employees. Do not stall progression waiting for staff SILOG may not have shipped to you.

Phase 4 — Cosmetics and the star headline

Paints are phase 4. They do not have a published star weight. Buy them when the three queues stay short for a full rush. Screenshots are allowed after the restaurant works.

Five stars remain a goal without a public formula. How to get 5 stars argues that clean paid plates and low runaways are the only honest inputs. Progression is how you produce those inputs: enough seats, enough heat, enough stock. If stars lag, keep shrinking banners and stockouts rather than rerolling for a secret shrine.

Re-evaluate after every code drop and every restock. A Deluxe gift can jump you from phase 1 to phase 2 in one Submit. A chair restock can jump you the other way — you suddenly have capacity you must staff with assign and cook. The order is not a one-time checklist; it is a loop you run every ten minutes.

Solo and six-player use the same phases. Co-op only changes how many humans cover assign versus shop. Cash is still per person for codes, shared as whatever you drop on the floor furniture.

If you remember one sentence: upgrade the queue you can see. Door full → chairs and tables. Plates late → stoves and layout. Banner plus “low condiments” → pantry. Cash burning a hole → not Paints until the rest is boring. That is Karinderya progression until SILOG adds a real skill tree — and they have not.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Karinderya players.

Should I upgrade stoves or chairs first?

Whichever queue is longer. Door full and cooker idle means chairs. Seats full and plates late means stoves.

How do codes change progression?

BAKARENEPAIRYAN and 1MVISITS (while live) inject cash and sometimes Deluxe or Parsons furniture. Place gifts immediately, then buy the remaining bottleneck.

When are Paints worth buying?

After capacity, throughput, and ingredient stock stay stable through a rush. They are not an early-game requirement.

Does progression unlock five stars automatically?

No documented formula ties shop tiers to stars. Better furniture only helps if it produces more paid plates and fewer runaways.

What if the shop is empty?

Play the current furniture, restock pantry if needed, and wait for the restock timer. Do not fill the gap with random cosmetics.
